What is the difference and which one is the right for you? This is a pretty big difference. Both are smaller with the Pint and result into a smaller range and lower speed. Both Onewheels are using the same iOS and Android apps incl. The XR is with Since the Pint is the newer model it got some unique features such like the integrated handle and the lightbar which indicates the battery status.
It also features a new riding feature called simple stop. While the XR is riding in both directions the Pint is only riding in on direction which makes it possible to easier get off the board. You slow down to zero and put you weight to the back, rather than riding into the other direction like with the XR now the motor shuts down and you can get off the board easily. You can turn off this feature at the Pint resulting into the same beahavier than the XRbut you cannot enable simple stop at the XR.
May be something Future Motion will make available as a software upgrade to the XR later. While the smartphone app is the same, the riding modes now called digital shipping 2. Future Motions made a lot accessories available for the Onewheel models. Unfortunately only a very few work for both models. As you can see in the picture above the power connectors for the Pint and XR look very different.
As such you cannot use the XR charger for the Pint. More about that and chargers later. Coming back to the Onewheel chargers. On the picture above you can see how they compare in size.
It is a huge difference. The car charger by the way has the same size as the XR home charger:. It has enough power and range to go on extensive off-road trips. The wider stance does help if you go on trails. The Onewheel Pint is for commuters and people wo want to relax by floating on the street.
The smaller size, lighter weight and integrated handle makes it easy to transport for example in public transport. The simple stop technology makes it much easier for beginners.
The smaller wheels make it easier to turn which is important if you ride downtown. It is however less stable and starts wobbling at higher speeds, but the Onewheel is anyways not designed for high speeds.
Which one do I prefer? I like the power and range of the XR and would therefore consider it as my favourite, especially if I want to go off-road.
If I need a short ride to a shop however I appreciate the small and light Pint. Check the offers at the E-Boarder Shop. Onewheel power connectors As you can see in the picture above the power connectors for the Pint and XR look very different. But almost any other XR accessory does not work for both models.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to shoot us an email at info synergywiz. Using your Onewheel to commute around town sounds like a great idea until you realize that you will have to lift and carry the 27 lb board around once you reach your destination. The Glider allows you to simply grab a fold-out handle and roll your Onewheel like a piece of luggage when riding is no longer an option.
The Onewheel is an amazing piece of technology, with a concerning flaw. If you push it just a little too far, the front catches on the ground, instantaneously bringing you from 19 mph 30 kph to 0 mph The Glider does all this by simply replacing your current Onewheel bumpers. With our standard handle, known as the Shorty Handle, your Glider bumpers are interchangeable and can be installed on either side of the board, allowing you to utilize the product features that you value most.
OR, you can install the handle on the front and wheels on the back and ride backwards if you want the freestanding feature. However, because of its length and the space limitations on the battery side, it only fits the front side of the board and the wheels must be installed on the back, which means the rider needs to ride backwards in order to keep the wheels facing forward. With the Extra Long Handle, you will always benefit from the freestanding feature because the wheels are automatically installed on the heavy battery side.
The longer handle can accommodate riders over six feet tall. The handle is installed on the lighter side of the board, making it feel lighter while rolling. The Onewheel can freestand with the wheels installed on the heavy battery side of the board. The handle can only be installed on the front. If installed on the back, it will not lock into place and the rider will risk breaking it.
The wheels have to be installed on the back.

The wheels can be installed on the front of the board. No need to ride backwards! The freestanding feature can be accomplished by installing the wheels on the heavy battery side. The bumpers are interchangeable, allowing you to use them however you choose. The handle is shorter and may not work for riders over six feet tall. If you choose to install the wheels on the front, you will lose the freestanding feature.
The board may feel heavier while rolling if the handle is installed on the heavy battery side of the board. With the Glider, you will experience a more confident and safer ride. No longer will you be concerned about the front of the board nosediving the ground and catapulting you off of it. Seamless integration was a design goal from the start, so attaching the Glider is as easy as changing the standard Onewheel bumpers.
We use the latest in additive manufacturing technology to provide our design team with full control over every millimeter of the Glider's development. These recent enhancements in 3D printing have empowered us to deliver a final product with an unprecedented strength and finish.
The Glider allows the Onewheel to temporarily stand up vertically on its wheeled side. Note: To accomplish the freestanding feature, the wheels must be installed on the heavy battery side back of the board.
The last thing you want is for the handle to drag and catch while cruising. You can ride with confidence knowing that the Glider's handle is securely stored when not in use. For maximum comfort, we recommend the Shorty Handle for riders 6 feet or under and the Extra Long Handle for riders over 6 feet. For reference, John the designer of the Glider is 5'10" and uses the Shorty Handle comfortably.
Please keep in mind the pros and cons of each design: the Shorty Handle provides more installation versatility but sacrifices the freestanding feature, and the XL Handle is longer and is capable of freestanding but requires the rider to ride backwards.Temporary notice — Please use the web browsers Safari, Firefox or Edge to check out with your cart. Feel free to call, live chat or email if you are having issues. Whether you love to cruise the streets or hit the hills, the Onewheel can do it all.

It's lit.Okay, why is this contraption being offered on a paramotor website? We started riding OneWheels a few years ago, as they are very practical transportation when running around at our training classes. They also came in super-handy when hanging out at a fly-in for the weekend. Why are they so apt to accompany a paramotor?
It's pretty hard to explain why this thing is so awesome. After all, it's a really expensive gadget that just doesn't have a lot of practical purpose. We've been in the business of expensive toys for a long time, and you'll just have to take our word for it on this one or demo one when you see us hovering around your next fly-in.
With a 12mi range they're great for a quick trip to the convenience store, urban commutes, and we've even taken them on big group rides at fly-ins when the weather is too sketchy for any of the pilots to fly. One guy on our team uses his to cruise his neighborhood with his 2-year-old while kiddo rides his balance bike. Floating just off the ground and carving turns, OneWheels are easy to learn and intuitive to ride. Want more speed?
We promise this thing can scare you, just lean forward a bit more. One pointer we would give when you adopt the Onewheel lifestyle: take a look at your carbohydrate and sugar intake, and perhaps make some cuts. After you have this thing, you're going to absolutely refuse to walk anywhere. For maximum fun, we present the mack-daddy of them all.Mafia Bag & Two-X (Onewheel): Thoughts & Impressions
The XR is our pick for parawaiting shenanigans as it's mi range allows for all-day shredding. For half-day shredding, the Pint is a smaller package than the XR, slightly more nimble, more portable, half the cost, and boasts a more modest range of 6mi before having to charge back up. All the same intuitive riding experience, just a cute little fella. Bonus - the Pint's smaller battery allows it to travel as checked baggage on an airplane.
Chances are, if you've spent more than 15 seconds looking at this page, you're already obsessed with the idea.
